Hello,
        I'm looking for the birth record of William Stimpson, born c1860 in Bradcaster. In 1861 he is living with his parents, William and Sarah, ditto in 1871. In 1881 he is a boarder in Higham, calling himself William R Simpson. I believe the 'R' stood for Russell. All help greatly appreciated.

Think this is his parents' marriage - Docking is the district which covers Brancaster

Is there a chance he was baptised as an adult?

It would appear to be a second marriage - there]s a previous to Mary Ann Edge in the same parish in 1851

where was he in 1861 & 1871?

In 1861 William was in Titchwell and in 1871 in Syderstone.
