The Unicorn Inn, Porthtowan

Hi,

Can anyone help with the history of the inn near the beach at Porthtowan.  It is now the Unicorn Inn.  Does anyone know if it has been renamed please?  Are there any trade directories or other publications that may help?

Is there a local studies library or history group?

It was called the  Commodore prior to being the Unicorm

Thank you so much for the prompt and helpful reply.  I googled for hours before posting this request as my efforts were in vain.  I did find the 1960 pic but did not see the caption giving the previous name. Everything makes much more sense now and a few more memories have been jogged.
