J. Pollock Stevenson - Procurator Fiscal

Does anybody have any connections to this family?

J(ames) Pollock Stevenson born c.1846 was the Procurator Fiscal for Ayrshire from 1881 until he died in 1920.

He was the son of Robert Stevenson and Helen Pollock. 

Helen Pollock was the daughter of Robert Pollock and Agnes Smith of West Raws, Kilmarnock and I believe, younger sister to my 4G grandmother, Margaret. 

Other names in this family include Agnes Pollock who married James White of Wraise Farm, Loudon in 1829

Hello, Im not sure if I am connected, but my Grandfathers full name was Thomas Pollock Stevenson, who lived in Auchinleck, Just starting out looking for my ancestors,

Hello Joyce, your Thomas Pollock Stevenson if born 28th May 1901 in Patna Ayrshire was the son of George Stevenson and Jessie Pollock (married 2nd April 1890 at Patna). George was son of Campbell Stevenson and Sarah Patterson, Jessie was the daughter of John Pollock and Elizabeth Drake.

I don't have a George Stevenson in my tree, I do have a John Pollock but he died before 1855 so I think it is unlikely to be the same.
