Joseph lynch, Londonderry City Cemetery

Hi, I found very limited information on this soldier, who died on 1/1/16 and is buried in Derry, I think he might be a great uncle but I can't find a corresponding Irish death record and there are no other details given at the Commonwealth graves site. Any suggestions?

There is a death registration for him-

Thanks aghadowey, I'd seems the CWG entry and the diamond war memorial entry, neither of which contain any details. The death record didn't come up when I searched and I guess that I will need to order and wait on a copy of the death certificate coming through to get a better idea of whether it was my relative or not

The death certificate will show very little details- parents, date and place of birth are not listed on Irish certificates. You'd have a better chance of contacting Derry City Cemetery- their records usually show religion, home address, birthplace and first names of both parents (although details are dependant on knowledge of informant).

Thanks Aghadowey, I thought parents might have been mentioned on the death certificate, Cemetery staff it is.

No Joseph Lynch in the Cemetery records, a private John Lynch aged 23 from Enniskillin was buried there on the 2/1/16, but no Joseph. I tried to contact the  Diamond war memorial people to check but no answer from any of their email addresses

Thanks for pointing this out Aghadowey, I don't know how that happened, seems to have cut in from another programme
