Looking for Marriage and Death or any other relevent information regarding John Houten Harris.

His parents were John James Harris and Mary Richmond Muirhead.  John Houten Harris was born on the 3 May 1902 in Kelvin, Glasgow.

Have you tried looking for him in Scotland as maybe the family all went back ? or did they remain in England

Yes, I have tried Scotlands people to see if he returned back to Scotland, but sadly unable to find him. 

I have previously put a request on for his father on Rootschat, his father was called John James Harris who was a Dentist Assistant in Stoke on Trent.  And have also got all the family on the 1911 census and they are living in Henley, Stoke on Trent.

Your previous thread shows that you have the death certificate of your John James Harris who was living at 36 Pinnox St, Tunstall, Staffs when he died in 1930:

So it would seem they did not emigrate as a family or return en masse to Scotland.

Thank you for your e-mail, no I am unable to find the two Sister and mother's deaths also!!

The two Sisters are called Mary Richmond Harris and Janet Muirhead Harris but I think they may have dropped their middle names.  And the mother is called Mary Richmond Harris nee Muirhead.

Any information would be grateful as I am at a loss

Just came across this death record for a Janet Muirhead Turner in Wolverhampton West Midlands in December 1976 aged 72 birth date 6/3/1904 out by 3days but maybe ?
She married Albert E Turner 1927 in Kidderminster Worcestershire ?

Maybe Mary ?   Death Dec 1976 Mary Richmond Phillips  birth date the same 1/7/1900 aged 76 Registration District Wolverhampton
Marriage Mary R Harris to  Leonard Phillips 1925 Kidderminster Worcestershire 

Probate records for Leonard in 1963 mentions his wife Mary Richmond Phillips
