I have looked for a Thomas Husselbury, and all the male patients called Thomas, but he is not there.
When and where was Thomas Husselbury born?

Thanks Stan. That's the point. I am trying to uncover who he is as I found a report in a Liverpool newspaper dated July 1869 of him being arrested for theft and being judged a lunatic and sent to the lunatic asylum. He may have been born in 1847 in Ardwick Lancashire

If the grandfather is also a Thomas Husselbury aged 73 then this is the person that I think it may be. Could you let me have the full details of the census record please?

Many thanks
