Chace/Chase Farm, Kenilworth
« on: Wednesday 12 November 14 10:07 GMT (UK) »
I am not sure if this farm exists any longer - probably been built on.  Does anybody know exactly where this is/would have been in the 1880's.  In an 1830 directory I have found 2 people, both described as farmers, with the address Chace Farm.  They are not related at all - Thos. Garlick and John Dunn.

Hi ericalauren,
Looking at a current map there is a Chase Farm off the A452 north of Kenilworth. However, when you look at a map from the 1880s you can clearly see Chase Farm in a slightly different location. In the 1880s it was about 1 mile north west of Kenilworth on Chase Lane and opposite Chase Wood. The farm in that location on todays map is called Little Chase Farm.
So the answer to your question is Yes it does still exist.
