This is the only photograph my wife has of her grandfather. This is likely taken in the General Store in Loyalsockville (referred to locally as Slabtown)We would appreciate any confirmation of the location and date of the photo - would it be around the 1950s? Also, would be really grateful for any restoration to eliminate scratches and blemishes. Many thanks.

General clean up.

Pixels are everything.
Higher compression is better than less pixels.
Pixels give better detail.

Many, many thanks to you all - Carol, Hippy, Pat, Richard and Carolyn - for your time and good work spent on this restore request. My wife is very happy with the results and we now have a very useable and good quality photo. I envy your skills!
