John Doig Wilson & Elizabeth Robson

Hello All
Has anybody got a connection to the following family, John Doig wilson born Newcastle 1833 married Elizabeth Robson born Norton 1833,
They were married 1869 in Newcastle and had a Daughter Rachel who was born Hendon St. Sunderland in 1871.
Rachel Married William Hall in Newcastle in 1896, as far as I know they had only one child John William Wilson Hall who was born in 1900.
 This all I have

 Regards
 Allan Robson

It was 1870 - not 1869

Do you have their 1870 marriage cert showing their respective fathers names and occupations as that could help trace them on earlier censuses?

Hi Allan

A William Hall marries Rachel Doigh Wilson in the Dec quarter of 1897 in Newcastle. NRO site says this was in St Stephen's Elswick.

The birth of a John Wilson W Hall is registered in the Sep quarter of 1899.

A John W W Hall aged 1 born Newcastle is with his grandmother Elizabeth Wilson in Elswick in the 1901 census ref RG 13/4770 folio 27 p45. Mrs Wilson has a disability - does it say "Dumb"?

A John W W Hall aged 18 joins up in 1917, father William Hall, Sycamore St, having been exempted from a combatant role by a tribunal on conscientious grounds.
