I need to make some more checks-despite your speedy and Miss Marples type scrutiny-you have probably had the same feeling in your researches-when the facts flood in and combined with the excitement of tracing an ancestor you get anxious that you're not following a red herring.

In this case, I don't think so - follow my trail and you'll see. I do double check but there's no harm in you checking.

If you'd given me the 1871 info at the beginning, I'd have found the family a lot faster. Unfortunately, you concentrated on the wrong census.
