dee, I was just wondering,

would it be possible to check arrivals for Ann/e Quin/n please?

If my Ann was previously married and travelled under that name,
but resumed her maiden name when in the new relationship....

Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you could have a look please

Thanks,

Rozzy

Rozzy, there is a Miss  Ann Quinn,, Irish, aged 20, a cook, arrived 6 Apr 1859 on the Hamilla Mitchell which departed Plymouth. Acc 115 /46-48.

There is a Mrs Ann Quin, nationality and age not given, also listed as Mrs Christopher Quin, departed London on the Western Australian 2 Apr 1884.  Acc 503
Husband Christopher was also on the ship.

And that's it, I'm afraid.

Hi there, I am looking for anyone who has this CD or access to it who could possible lookup some ancestors.

Isaac Place, wife Mary Place and sons Isaac, William and Thomas who arrived on the ship TRUSTY into Western Australia in Dec 1842. Not sure if there was a sister Mary Ann with them too.

I would like to know if there is any more info like where the ship departed from and other info on the individuals like age, religion, birthplace etc.

Thankyou in advance if you can help

Kind Regards

Melanie Place

Sorry Shooper, I can't do the lookup for you, as I am away from home for some months. The disk won't work with Windows 7 on my laptop. It will only work on my dinosaur computer with Windows XP.   :(
You may have to follow Kimberley's advice.

Have a look at WA BDM online indexes, and there are some births for a Joseph Hooper and Ann Connell, but 1859 to 1864 in the Guildford area.  Not sure if they are yours.
