Joseph Durber-Death
« on: Thursday 20 June 13 20:57 BST (UK) »
My Grandfather Joseph Durber was born in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent in 1880.I have it on good authority that he died and was buried at Bagillt Flintshire in 1940.However according to the England and Wales Death Index as shown on Ancestry there is no record of his death?

Regards
William Russell Jones.

Many thanks Peter, though to be fair the Surname has been transcribed a lot worse on Ancestry!Yes I was speaking some time back now to the Vicar of St Marys Bagillt and he confirmed he was buried there in 1940.Ah well another correction to make on Ancestry!

Thanks Sarah,it always was a tricky Surname for BMD records and Census entries. In any event I'm hoping to go and look for his grave in the Autumn.
