I went to Ruthin Archive last week (1 July 2014) where WWWynn items are available looking to find reference to my ancestor and found an agents rent book 1830 - 1840 with individual entries including the John Hughes of Alltgoch, Llangedwyn I was looking for. I then found a tithe map that the rent book referred to and so found the actual location of the now tumbledown and overgrown property occupied 1830 - 1890.
