I agree with you, the 1871 census, Harris's are not my family.
Harris was my maiden name and its soooo common!!.

You have to be 100 % sure before you accept info and move further on.
Trying to find "my" Harris family in the census going back is near impossible.

I do have
b. Charles William Harris 23/10/1852 Fulham - d. C W Harris 23/6/1925 Fulham
b. Bridget Dempsey 4/10/1860 Parsons Green, Fulham - d. Bridget Harris 26/9/1929 Fulham

We have located their graves, they were buried together!! North Sheen (Fulham new) Cemetery.

Can see my family on all the following census but having trouble with before this...
1881 Census 7 High street Fulham,
1891 Census 7 high street Fulham
1901 Census 7 high street Fulham
1911 census 7 high street Fulham

Thanks for showing an interest. I really do appreciate it.

Thanks for your prompt response,
Bridgets parents married in a catholic church in Fulham fields.
one sister did marry as catholic and one did not. I would say she was catholic .

Hi,
trying to climb...again...one of my brick walls.
I cannot locate the marriage of my great grandparents.

Charles William Harris b. 23/10/1852 Fulham - d. 22/6/1925 Fulham
Bridget Dempsey b.4/10/1860 Parsons Green  - d. 26/9/1929 Fulham.

Their eldest child b. 1879 also 19** census advise m.32 years
Most of bridgets siblings married so out of character for her not to marry.

Any advise of tips would be very well received
Regards
