Hello Kevin, what a fantastic feeling to have 'tidied up' the Siggs family. I look forward to finding a little time to sort out my lot with your findings.
Sending best wishes from Australia. I do hope you and your family are safe and keeping well.
Cheers

Hi Michael, Robert Cooper was also my 4th gr grandfather. His first child, Mary Ann, was my 3rd gr grandmother; her daughter Louisa Mary Heaney my 2nd gr grandmother; Louisa's daughter, Elizabeth Emma Lipson-Sommers my 1st gr grandmother and her daughter, Maude Mary Fuller. As mentioned I have a quite a bit of info on Robert and his parents and am happy to share. If you would like to know more, let me know how to get it to you. I haven't attached files on Rootschat before so not sure how reliable it is or who actually gets the information.
cheers

Australia / Re: Jacobus HEANEY aka James Francis SMITH

Hi Emily, well done. It would appear that James/Jacobus Heaney/Smith might just be the dodgy member of our huge family. I certainly think all adds up to James being the son of Richard Heaney and Mary Ann Cooper. Just as an aside, you might be interested in a book I recently read which involves Robert Cooper, his family and Juniper House. The fictional book is Opal Dragonfly by Julian Leatherdale and gave quite an interesting picture of the lives our ancestors lead in Sydney in the mid 1800s. cheers Jilly

Hello Kmsiggs. Is it possible to get a look at your Whiffing records? Are you on Ancestry by change? Crotchrode Whiffing certainly seemed a character.

Hi Sarah

I've had another go and think I might have it this time.

The first photo is Thomas Fuller.
This one if William Fuller.

Hi Sarah

They both have different names ie Thomas Fuller, William Fuller. I tried a couple of weeks ago with the same result. I'll try attaching one to this message and see if it works.
cheers and thanks

Are you able to tell me if these two men are brothers or father and son - they definitely look alike. William Fuller, my 3rd gr grandfather, was born in Richmond, Surrey in 1785 and died in 1872. I think the other gentleman is Thomas Fuller but am not sure if he is father or brother. Do you think the photos were taken at the same time?
Many thanks.
Jill

PS I am unable to attach photos despite being under the limited size. I have tried attaching them one at a time but keep getting an error message. Is there a reason for this?
