The marriage entry shows she married Charles Cresswell not Creswell.  Death recorded Bradford September qtr 1927

What was her address at the time of her death as the Bradford RD covered several areas

Hi thank you for the information.

Marriage from the NOtts FHS CD

1869 09 28
groom  William Henry ANDERSON
bride    Mary Ann WALKER
parish   NOTTINGHAM St Mark

(edited to add -- however, in 1891 Mary is said to come from Norton, Yorkshire, and in 1871 from Norton, Notts--so beware of jumping to conclusions with this marriage!)
Hi thank you for the information. David

You presumably have him on the 1881 census where he is shown as married to Mary and eldest child is 11

However - Mary was b Worksop Notts so they may not have married in Yorkshire.

You would be best buying a copy of one of the childrens birth certs to get her maiden name

1881 shows Henry was aged 9 and b Liverpool and also a dtr Elizabeth b 1874 b Liverpool

Births June qtr 1872
Henry Anderson     West Derby  8b   253
Hi thank you for the information. David.

Have you found him on a census with a wife?
Did he have children? If so when and where was eldest born?

These sorts of things will narrow down when and where he may have married, and thus aid any search for a marriage. As well as confirm, if a marriage for that name was found, whether or not it is likely to be the right person!
Hi thank you for the information. David
