I had not seen that RK, in fact I didn't have a death date for him.   It seems he married twice.

I doubt our library would have any information as I live in a country town called Bendigo, in Victoria, Australia.  But I was given a list of information I am wading through.

Thanks anyway.

Canada Lookup Request / Goring relatives in Canada
« on: Saturday 13 January 18 20:54 GMT (UK)  »
Are there any Goring family living in Canada who may be able to fill in a Cudney question?   I am sure I must have relatives in the Niagara area.     I was given information about 20 or so years ago by a family member (no longer alive), and have just come across a possible discrepancy.     I am not familiar with Canadian family history as I live in Australia.    My great grandfather Goring came to Australia in 18152.   I don't have access to Ancestry World Heritage.

Looking forward to hearing from some Gorings.

I saw the surnames as you suggested, but my Ann Cudney married Frederick A Goring, so that death date would not be her.

I am not sure that the Ezekial Cudney mentioned with parents Ann Kerley is the same one, as many years ago, Canadian relatives (no longer with us) gave me the information I have.

The Cudney's I have - mostly unattached are

Cudney, Ann - born 17 July 1816, died 8 Feb 1865, married to Frederick August Goring b 25 Dec 1812, Niagra Lincoln Country, Ontario CDA died 1 Jan 1877, Zion United Cemetery, Windham Twp, Norfolk
Cudney, Bathsheba - b 1828 died 11 Mar 1907, married John B. Goring b 5 Sep 1824, Niagara, Lincoln Country, Ontario, CDA, died 7 Nov 1903
Cudney, Ezekiah - married Mary. and had Bathsheba
Cudney, James - married Mary, and had Ann

Thanks for your help Sandra, maybe I should look for some Goring relations in Canada on this site and see if they can fill me in.    My forebear in particular Francis Goring 1755-1842 was also a loyalist - so the name is well known.

That's very true, only if it's the same Ann Heaven born 1820 Uley.
She had at least one brother and sister also born there but I only have the father as William Heaven, mother Elizabeth ? and no idea where they lived.   Since it was a baptism, - it is more than likely correct - so thank you all.

Thanks for all your replies, I've sent an attachment, and as I mentioned earlier, the year was 1820.  I have looked at your maps - still not sure whether it is Lampern or Lamport.

I have an ancestor Ann Heaven who apparently was baptised  Ann Heaven in 1820, William heaven (father and father of james) gives place of abode as Lamphorn.

Where is Lamphorn?  I originally had her as born 1820 Uley, Gloc.    Are they anywhere near each other?
