Our Wall family has its roots in County Wicklow, namely: Dunlavin, Baltinglass, Blessington and more recently Dublin suburbs and Arklow. The Wall family website is wallclan on tribalpages.com.

Edward and Sarah Wall gave birth to their 1st child James Wall on May 28 1861 and his baptism was (2) days later on May 30 1861 @ Saint Nicholas Church in Dunlavin.

Thank you - I'll drop them a line and let you know how it goes for someone else that might have the same pre 1864 problem. pete

Above reply showed Patrick Wall bap. August 7 1871 but I have Peter Wall born August 6 1871, known is that Peter (or Patrick as case might be) is buried in Liverpool's Ford Cemetery.

Q. I think we're in sync on 9 children (not 10) but anyone help out on correcting first name difference?

thx pete

Thank You so much I'd long since given up on determining exact date of James Wall's Dunlavin birth and baptism.  Parents Edward and Catherine 'Kate' Kealy married in Liverpool's then Pro-Cathedral on  May 16 1860 (same month a year later) Kate gave birth to James 'Jimmy' Wall that's so neat to find another link thank you so much and, history was to repeat itself as James Wall in 1888 now married to Mary Carey (Saint Andrews, Dublin) sailed across the Irish sea and was subsequently buried in Ford's cemetery.  pete
