Hi Trev

Annabels daughter Victoria Emslie is an actress and was appearing locally recently in Lotty's war
She played Lottie had some good reviews too she also  had a small part in the last episode of Downton abbey.
With regard to her family history she had a brilliant stroke of luck when watching old war movietone on tv when she spotted one of her family so she managed to get some copy of the footage I believe. She showed it on facebook but I cant find it I will get her to send it again

Hi
I have another query please for any one who has access to Chelmsford records
I am looking for the burial records for Frederick Arthur Hills who came from Lewisham but was killed in an accident in a lift shaft whilst working at LLoyds bank in Chelmsford. This was in July 16th 1971 However I cant find a burial for him anywhere and I am also lost as to when to start looking. There probably was an inquest so he may not have been buried immediately but I have looked in Chelmsford and Lewisham without success so Helppppppppppp please

Essex / Re: Harriet Halstead born abt 1850 in Southminster.Essex
« on: Wednesday 10 August 16 20:25 BST (UK)  »
Did Harriet Halstead die in the workhouse?

Harriet Halstead was the 11th child of Samuel and Mary Ann HALTED nee Collis.
She was born in Southminster Essex act 1850.

Her parents both died the following year 1851.The last child in this Halstead family, Emily was born 18th September 1851.
After the deaths of the Halstead parents the children were in the care of the Wicks family. (They had 12 children of their own). Susannah Wicks was their aunt.

Little is known of Harriet HALSTEAD ,
any help as to her death would be appreciated
