Hi Folks,

I have attached a photo of my great aunt Gladys Clark (1932-1993) in uniform but not sure what it is. Tried looking for records online but not had much luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Thanks WendyNapierWalker :) As the records only go to 1981 thats as far as I got.

Alan - The service Company appears to be Accountants and Auditors, Cary Mossman Limited, 206 Lyndon Road West, Hastings , New Zealand and the dissolved Company was Clark Investigation Assoc Ltd.

Thank you all so much for your help.

The sons business was dissolved in 2003 and only traded for 11 months. Haven't been able to find much more in him or the business.

Thanks again

Hi Folks,

Getting back into my family tree and have hit the brick wall. I have my great uncle ALFRED HODSON CLARK born Aberdeen 1917 and his wife Margretta Hyslop Dempster McMillan born 1919. I have them from birth, marriage, through the war and electoral rolls until 1970 then they appear to move to Horowhenua Manawatu-Wanganui approx 1970 - 1981. This is where Ancestry stops.  This couple would be 102 and 100 years old this year. I know its possible that they may still be alive so there are no more records to find. I did find a record on NZ Company Directory for their son but I think the company has ceased trading. Any suggestions where else I can try?

Many thanks

This is the details of my 4x great grandmothers marriage in 1824. ** 15 [May], Bartie, William, Shoemaker in Footdee & Jean Thom there, daughter of James, Soldier 4th Reg[iment] Dragoon Guards. C.C. Alex. Moir and H. Leslie.**

Can anyone help point me in any direction where I can find out more about James Thom in the Dragoon Guards please? What uniform he would have worn, where he would have served etc. Thank you .
