Valda,
Thank you for looking up the two Baby girls born 1896 and 1900.  Although it wasnt what I hoped for it certainly gives me more information on the Taylor line.   The search for George and Mary Anns's daughter continues.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thank you .
Most Sincerely,
Jennifer (Canada)

Hi Valda and Roy,
I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the help that you two have given me with the Taylor genealogy. This is so wonderful.  Thank you both for all you have given me regarding my mom's side of the family.  You have not only helped me but my mom will be excited to read it as well.
Thank you Valda and Roy.
Most Sincerely,
Jennifer

Roy ,
thank you for your email.  Is there anyone on line that would have access to 1861 census Sussex?
George Taylor was born Diddling 1855 . I know his father was Mark Taylor but I would like to know if I could find out his mothers name or if he had sibblings.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Most sincerely,
Jennifer

Valda,
a wee note to thank you for writing the information  about the Taylor Family in Petworth.  I have been searching where George Taylor resided after my great grandmother passed away in the Petworth workhouse.  Your information helped me greatly and is much appreciated and heartfelt.
Most Sincerely,
Jennifer

Hi Chris,
I dont know Mary Ann Taylors daughters christian name.
Mom knew her only as Auntie Ann but she could have used her middle name.  I was hoping to find them listed in the workhouse with Albert and George Taylor.  Apparently she was younger than my Grandad Albert Taylor and it makes me wonder if she would have been in another location .

You were saying that the records come out in March and Mary Ann died in February 1901 so does that mean that George and Albert Taylor were in the workhouse prior to their mom if it doesnt show Mary Ann and her daughter being listed with them?   Thank you for all your help with understanding what happened  .   Your site is wonderful.
Most Sincerely
Jennifer

When I read about Workhouses it states that the boys and men were in one area and the women and girls are in another area in the workhouses.  I did ask my mom about her Aunt and she called her Auntie Anne.  I tried to go on line to census looking for Ann Taylor or Anne Taylor or Mary Ann Taylor without success.  Apparently she was younger than my grandad who was born Dec 12 1891 but registered in 1892.
I do hope this information is what you need.  Thank you so much for replying to my inquiry.  All my life I thought my grandad and his siblings were put into a orphanage but when I received my great grandmothers death certificate I realized she was in the Petworth Workhouse as well with her three children.   Thank you again for helping me.
Most Sincerely
Jennifer
