No. The only records I have are those available on Ancestry. Four at Walmer, which matches name origin and year of birth as well as the Sudan Star with Suakin clasp awarded in 1886. I am not entirely sure the 1900 Chelsea Hospital reference is him, as with the 1886 medal list from HMS Carysfort. Proven to be very ellusive.

at home in Banbury in 1871 as GIFFARD (his mother's married name).
1 day imprisonment 1876.
Royal Marines depot, Walmer Kent in 1880
Sudan Medal 1886.
Possibly the person under examination in 1900 at Royal Hospital, Chelsea
May have settled overseas.

Thank you.
This does not appear to be the relative I am looking for. His middle name is Gifford and was born in 1860.

In the event anyone comes across the marriage detail that is recorded as Q3 1911 in the GRO index at Headington RD for William G WILKINSON, I would pleased to hear from them. As I am trying to locate a long lost ancestor I do not know if this is church marriage or at the appropriate RO. Thanks.

Thank you, both.
I use familysearch.org quite a lot, but the answer you describe never appears for me in searches, which is part of the reason for my request. I have no explanation, as this is not the first time.
Would one of you be kind enough to post the precise link to the record and image as that may circumvent the reason why it is not being displayed, or paste the transcription in reply?
Appreciated.
