I was browsing and happened to see your post re. Kenny.
The story goes.....
Elizabeth Quinlan m. John? Kenny.  no date.
She had two boys, John and William.  She came to England from Kings County with her two boys and married Stephen Varley in 1884-ish.  They then went on to have other children.
Could there be a connection?  I know very little about Irish records, but I know Kings County is now Offaly.

There is an Elizabeth Kenny, from Kings County, who came to England with her two sons.  She later married Stephen Varley (in 1883?) in Jarrow and went on to have more children.  According to the marriage certificate she was a widow, and her father's name was Quinlan.  Any help?

I have an ancestor who worked in a laundry in the Blantyre area.  Does anyone know where this would be please?  It would be about 1940-ish.   Thankyou.
