Thank you all so much for your help.We were in Fermanagh and Tyrone last year and were confused by the Goodwin, McGuigan names.I
Annie was 1child of 17/19 children, some of whom sadly died in infancy. She was The youngest and hardly ever spoke to her own children about her life as a child.
The archivist in Enniskillen library said he was from  Goodwin/ McGuigan family too.
Now trying to find death certificates for Sarah and John.
Definitely going to keep on searching.Once again thanks for your help.

Thanks to those who have offered supportive advice and information. I have been searching records in the  south of Ireland, (Dalys  in Carrigtoohills & Cunninghams in Kilkenny) some knowledge gained from other members of the family.
As for Fermanagh, the only information I have had is, a copy of Annie Goodwin's birth certificate. Her family have no other knowledge. I have been searching various records in order to get as far as Greaghtirrive and the Lynch family in1901. I think I have worked hard to get this far.
I have found on the Scottish site, that when asking general questions about my family, that I have received some delightful responses regarding my greatuncle, from people I didn't know existed.

I have Dalys / Daleys in my family. My great uncle James  ( born 1867) came over from County Cork in 1881 to stay with his sister, (my great grandmother)  Brigid Cunningham nee Daly. They could be related as like so many families in those times, they all went on to have children. James might be the grandfather of your John Daley. Have a look at James's siblings  ....Denis , Daniel and Elizabeth Jane, living in the Whitfield Place area ( between Conway Street and Grange Road.

Looking for information before the 1901 census. Have found some information in the Catholic Parish Registers (1655-1915).Any other sources possible? I am aware of the fire which destroyed many Irish records but, still hopeful.

For some reason, unknown to my generation, Peter's family do not want any contact.
I live in hope.

An appeal for any information from Peter's relatives.Peter was my great uncle. I have heard many good things about him from my late father and his sister's.
Aware that there were problems when my grandfather died. My grandmother Martha, refused to talk about that time, even to her own family.Would welcome some light on the issue.

Would appreciate help in finding a list of names of those who died and those who survived.
Have seen photographs of the memorial in Edinburgh but, unable to read some of the names clearly.

Looking for any information about a large family of Goodwins in the Fermanagh area. Not all of the children were alive at the same time. Interested to know if any members of the family still live in the area. Younger members of the family were born around 1916 - 1920. Annie Goodwin, born in 1919, moved to London in the 1940s with some of her siblings.
