For warstone lane and key hill cemeteries try jqrt.org
Very useful set of databases, including memorial inscriptions. A lot of old gravestones still very readable. Gives grave and section number, it's still being updated but covers vaults, catacombs and graves.

Staffordshire / Microfische at Stafford record office
« on: Friday 20 June 14 18:27 BST (UK)  »
All the parish records on microfische are now kept behind the desk at stafford, not just the post 1837 marriages. You have to take the fische number you want up to the desk and the staff get the fische for you. Just in case any one is thinking about going there!

Just to tell you Freereg has just updated. Plenty of new records for Bloxwich and Walsall in with them. Hopefully we will have reached the 2 million for Staffordshire.  Check the counties and parish pages on Freereg for coverage.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / uniform 1900's
« on: Wednesday 15 June 11 19:59 BST (UK)  »
Anyone any idea what this uniform is. I wonder whether it is an old salvation army uniform although it looks like army, can't get close up of collar flashes or buttons without blurring.  The buttons are worse . It is approx 3x2 inches and grey scale.  Looks if the man is wearing a brimmed cap because of the shadow over th eye. Looks like old gloss photo paper and as you can see in poor condition Any help would be gratefully received.
