Lincolnshire / where do i start.....

Hi All

I am planning on visiting Lincolnshire next month and hoping to find out where my Great Nan's family lived and hopefully where they are buried.

But the problem is i not sure where they are buried / cremated. Can someone point me in the right direction of where i can start looking / asking? The family lived in Horncastle area.....

Hello All

Can someone help me please?

Ive found this probate will for my husband's great grandfather. When he died he had 3 children alive. But his will went to a John William Downes. Does anyone know why this may have happened? and how do i go about find out more info on this man....

Flintshire / Is / Was there a place called Wych?

Hi All

I'm trying to trace the family of Lucy (or possibly Louisa) Ann Taylor born in 1870 in a village called Wych in Flintshire. I have tried to google this but i can't seem to find it, can anyone please help me?

I have looked on ancestry but no luck either, it maybe that this information has been passed down wrongly....

Montgomeryshire / Llanfyllin Cemetry

Hi All

I have just found out where my great great great grandfather is buried in Llanfyllin. Though he is buried with 2 children with a surname that i didn't know was linked to the family and can't find the link.

I know that it is usual for people to buried with family members, though can it be possible that they are not related?

I really appreciate all advice given

Denbighshire / Rockmans Arms Inn Garth

Hi

Does anyone have any information about the history of this pub in Garth? I know that the house is now known as Rock Villa and next door is Rock Cottage.

Back in the 1930's a Thomas & Catherine Jones lived there... i think that Thomas was a Inn Keeper back on the 1901 census but wondered if the family ran the Inn in Garth??

Denbighshire / seion welsh baptist chapel cefn mawr

Hi

Does anyone have any pictures & information regarding this chapel? I have recently discovered that John Henry Phillips was a deacon of this chapel before he passed away in 1969.

John was the eldest son of Winifred & John Phillips. Winifred was the younger sister of my Gr Gr Taid Edward Jones of Llangollen.

Cheshire / Nantwich Workhouse

Does anyone have access to the Nantwich Workhouse Records? I have found 2 of my ancestors on the 1881 census living in the workhouse but can't find them on the 1891 & 1901 census... i would like to find out what happened to them....
