I have been searching,so far without success, for the parents of Jane Waugh.
b. 1847 in Jedburgh. Roxburghshire
She married Robert Watson in 1869 in Bedrule Roxburghshire.

East Lothian (Haddingtonshire) / James & Agnes Jamieson

Searching for James Jamieson & Agnes Hume were married 12th Oct 1844
I have them in the 1841 census with daughter Agnes,age 5, and 2 siblings living in Westfield? Haddington, East Lothian.
By 1851 she is living with William and Euphemia Darge. Living in the Village of Abbey, Haddington
James and Agnes disapeared between 1841,51.
I am also Trying to confirm Euphemia is James Jamieson's sister
Agnes's marriage certificate to John Watson (1868) has the name Euphemia Jamieson.
Getting more confused the more I search!

From the marriage certificate of Isabella Johnstone to James Cuthbert. I have Isabella's parents Robert Johnston and Catherine Mossman.
I think that I have found their marriage 9th Dec.1864 in Edrom, Berwick. I also think I found them in the 1881 census Robert born 1839 Catherine born 1843 plus six children.
I would like to know their parents but have not been able to get their certificate. Suggestions.

I have a cousin with a week in London next month. He has offered to search for me.(We live in New Zealand)
With so little time I would like to narrow down the possibilities.
He will be searching for the birth of Eliza Mills b. Peckham, London 1827.
It would appear she sailed to Australia in 1849 on the "Ascendant" with Sarah & Ann Mills.( listed as servants)
Her daughter's birth certificate gives Eliza's birthplace as Peckham.
Very little to go on.

I am searching for the family of Gt grandmother, Eliza Mills.
She was born in London in 1827, died in Bullumwaal Australia in 1909
Married Stephen Keel Hall in Adelaide Australia. May 1851.
They lived in Adelaide, Geelong,Ballarat and Maryborough.
I have found a shipping record for the 'Ascendant" arriving in Adelaide 18th August 1849.
The listing was Sarah (24) ,Eliza (22) and Ann (31) Mills. ( this could be my Eliza )
Also listed an Edward Mills (25). May or may not be connected.
I have been unable to find a record of her birth or of this family in London.

I am having great difficulty in deciphering the name of Hannah Chambers mother.
The best I get is Gusan Doronan. But these names don't appear in census etc.
