Europe / 2 German prisioners of war in England

At the end of the 2nd world War, my grandfather (who was German by birth) befriended 2 German prisioners of war in the Uk, They made for my first birthday in 1947 a wooden train, made out of cotton reels and scraps of wood, after 75 years I still have this train.
they were: Franz Shimmal, of Asperg, Germany and Eric Sobejyek, who remained in the UK, any info on them or their German families would be very welcome

My grandfather Carl Wilhelm Louis Peters, born in Barmbeck, Hamburg 21st Sept 1886, arrived in England early 1900s, stayed with a family in Cornwall, married their daughter in 1917. I would like to find out, how he travelled, where he landed and how he ended up in Cornwall

My grandfather's family came from Eastbourne, I have traced them  back to William Rollason born in 1765 in Eastbourne and married Sarah Ann Welch, any information of them or descendants would be welcome

My 4x great grandfather was William Rollason born in Eastbourne in 1765, my family line comes down through Thomas Rollason 3x grandfather (born 1795) to Alfred Rollason born 1824, who moved to Cornwall. Would like information on any other branches of this family
