Seeking information about George William Taylor , a jockey/groom who emigrated from England to USA in 1904 to work for Ogden Mills in New York.  Any info about his later life i.e where he ended up, did he marry etc. will be appreciated and acknowledged.

Does anyone know where I might find information about British Army units posted to the Montreal area in the early 1800's. My g.grandfather came to Montreal Canada from Ireland abt. 1840 with a British Unit - possibly the Royal Engineers. Any and all information appreciated.
