London and Middlesex / George Robert Jones 1897
« on: Monday 16 May 22 19:27 BST (UK)  »
George Robert Jones married Elizabeth Ives in St Pauls Church, Clerkenwell on July 22 1916. George was 19, a bachelor and a market porter. His father was also George Robert Jones and a market porter. Elizabeth was a spinster aged 19. Her father was Henry Ives [deceased] and a horse keeper. Jane Coombes and Florence Brown were witnesses. The couple both lived at 69 Lever Street.

I have found them on the census for 1901 and 1911 around Clerkenwell but i cannot find the copy i printed and now i  cannot find them at all. They were both market porters in 1911. Any ideas. George the son died during First World War I think and thats hopefully what i will find.

Any help appreciated

Getting a bit confused concerning the service they provide following a reply i received from an email request before i mde a visit. If i take out a subsription can i view AND print out copies of parish records at home?
If i visit the centre at chelmsford in person i know i can view but can you print out copies. The impression i get from them is that you can NOT do this your self but have to request a copy at a few pounds per page. This seems so last century but perhaps i misunderstand or they misunderstood me. I dont want them to do the research.
Has anyone any specific experience of this recently, can you give exact costs.

Trying to find so information on Charles Adam Cripps b1794 southwark, who went to work on the railways in Mexico. It is believed he died around 1840 after being killed by robbers/bandits whist working on the railways.
