Hi there
I'm working on my wife's ancestry in the Burnley area. Ann YEADON married a Colne butcher called William BERRY yet her two children remained as YEADONs. The censuses below indicate that he was their father. Anybody got any ideas?
The IGI suggests that she may have married William in 1830
Ann YEADON
Birth 1812 Burnley, Lancashire, England
Marriages William Berry 1830 Burnley, Lancashire, England
The censuses of 1851 and 1861 indicate that they did marry

In the 1861 census Ann's birthplace is given as Ingleton and a further search of the IGI indicate her parents maybe Thomas and Kesia YEADEN. Does anybody have any info on this family?
Thanks in anticipation
Graham
