hi, would someone be willing to take out the crease marks etc ,on this victoria combination made by scottish limited , number plate was registered in gloucester in 1913, the sidecar is made of wicker basket material , health and safety would have a field day , and with the hats also, i dont need it coloured just touched up ,thank you john

hi, have a photograph ,written on reverse is idris davies abertaf villa abercynon , my info says he was in welsh service co and was a driver/batman he was born 1889, but army say 1893, , he was injured in france ww1 .can anyone please identify and confirm cap badge / uniform and any info you can glean from it   thanking you john

please could someone tell me ,approximate date photo was taken,  and rough age  of the gentleman ,the back of the studio photograph says d grant  photo builth, no improvement of pic required, as at present subject ,unidentified  it was in a box of photographs belonging to my wife's grandfather,  i know its not him  ,the jacket looks pixelated,  but thats the pattern clearly on this small 2 and 3 eigths by 3 and 5 eigth's of an inch photo  thanks to anyone that can help  john

hello military mystery solvers, I attach a photograph of a ww1 soldier ,on the reverse are three numbers 8920,  98360 and what looks like 40480    can anyone match these numbers to a person/regiment ?  it was in a box with pics of other soldiers and ones of idris davies  rasc in my last post grateful for help john

please can someone tell me   which regiment this soldier is wearing  ?   its one of 3 pics  one says idris davies abertaff villas abercynon   ,the other written to    pte i davies  037063  332nd coy 38th div asc etc , i found army service records for idris,  rasc  driver and batman , from abercynon   a brother to my wifes grandfather , if someone can confirm uniform  we will be very grateful,   it came in a box of old pics many possibly family   but most with nil on back  pity    yours john

   private john parkins of the north Staffordshire regiment, reg nr 7542 born at Oldham lancs about 1885  ,was killed france/flanders 26 nov 1916,  his wife Elizabeth,  had died in 1912,  he had been employed at treharris colliery mid glam,  = info from a south wales newspaper,  who added  he had been a reservist at the outbreak of war,  and had been on foreign service in india and Africa,   I had a search , but failed to find his  previous military service   can anyone help my trace the older military record of john parkin please  he is listed on the nelson war memorial nelson glam  when john died  he left two daughters born 1910 and 1911    I would be grateful for any help   john,  ps  I can find him at heol fawr nelson glam on 1911 census  but cannot spot him in 1901 etc

help needed  please    my grans sister , was married to private john parkins,  nr 7542 north staffs regiment, he was killed  in france 26 nov 1916 he was with the bef   and a local south wales newspaper  said he was a reservist at outbreak of the war  and had seen service in india and Africa, I have tried to find his earlier army records   but no success,     census 1911  he was living with wife and child in  nelson Glamorgan    it says born abt 1885 Oldham lancs    at present I have not been able to spot him on the 1891 and 1901 census    poss in army overseas 1901 ?   any help and advice appreciated  john

please could someone change the setting of a  brown settee,    to something better, wife said what about a white shawl,,      sitting on a white shawl would be fine    or would that be a problem ,  with white on white ?   help       tnx john
