World War Two / finding fathers brother

Hi please  excuse if I am on wrong board trying to help my Cu's he is trying to find any info on his fathers military  records so he can send for his service records
he is not sure of any regiments he served in but he thinks his father was in coulees and then may be changed to royal engineers to be with Sapper Leslie Elswoth (his brother my father )on my Birth cert (1944 ) states my fathers army regiment as Sapper Leslie Elsworth and his No

Can any one please help  solve this mystery on Ernest Arthur Elsworth b1918 Honeywell st Barnsley thanks in advance myfair lady

any help plz who was the parents of my ggggrand mother poor woman born abt 1808 Hanna Wood (Woods ) no baptism to be found died from wasting buried age27 in 1835 All Saints Wigan
Son John baptised the Bast son of Hannah of Scholes 26 March 1826 All Saints Wigan
MARRIED Margret Ashurst 22 june 1846 no Father on marriage cert
2nd son William  Baptised 5 Oct 1834 All Saints Wigan to Hanna abode Scholes buried19 May 1885 All Saints Wigan death due to Wasting
Can any one help or advise me if there is a way to find her parents
just traveled from yorks to wigan but could not  knock down this brick wall is there no way to hit this wall
John was living with a Richard and Mary Cunnliffe in 1941 in Wigan
looked on Parih chest Marriages and found 2 matches for who this Couple could be one was 1816 Wigan but the other was married the year of John Woods Baptism 1826 and was an officer of the poor
Any help great fully recieved ONE BRICK IS THE START OF A WALL

plz help wanting to find exact mother maiden  name of my  william wood confused on Censers b 1853/54 Wigan .the district is right  married Harriet Green 1883 St Georges age 26 (making him b 1857 ) his father was john a miner  b abt 1827 ? William d 1914 age 61 again making birth 1853
Looking at Lancashire bmd 2 mother poss for william 1853 and 4 1857 birth
which do I go for
william is with Harriet  and 2  of Harriets children  they was not wed but both children named Wood in 1891 at Kay houses Wigan  and 1901 tavern keeper of the new inn upper morris street
plz help cannot get passed this
Ihave got a couple of certs but cannot say which is right know marriage  and death certs are right ones Ihave both these
just dont know which birth date

Can any kind roots member help me looking for all info I can get on my GG uncle thomas Esworth born 1885 Cleckheaton ,Yorkshire lost him on uk censers but found him on ships list sailing from liverpool to US info I found was Liverpool port of Departure on ship named Havenford port of arrival on 6 April 1910 was Philadelphia Pennsylvania,age 25. He must have had a friend sailing with him called E Brook as this is on the record I found
Can any one plz help as I have tried Ellis Island family search foot notes and think I must be missing out some where
PLZ Help a novis  I would love to know where he finished up if he had family ect
So once again i can any kind Roots chat member please help

plz help looking for a birth of Abner Neil Belfast abt 1882 father john
Abner was named on the death cert as uncle to a neill baby in 1919 the childs address was Brown St
Abdner also had a brother Frances trying to find either births to give us certs for mums maiden name
Know its not a lot to go on but any roots chatter help so certs can be obtained

Help plzzzz can anyone help me to find a death of Francis Niell born28.11.1882Belfast  n. Ireland father john
He was a piano tuner and also Bandmaster in Belfast 2nd corps Salvation Band
He moved to Royton Oldham in lancs and married on 5.8.1911 shortly after thier marriage moving back to Belfast with his wife Amy where Frank as he was known died ,He was struck by lightening after taking shelter under a tree, I am led to believe it was a very large funeral and posible put in press
Amy and Francis had 3 children all born in Belfast but only one survived he was William john Neill born 1912 the 3 born in Irelan we have not been able to find,  Amy was caryring Francis last child when she lost her husband she also lost her child think this would have been abt 1919
Any help on Francis death along with her children would be more than appriciated

Visiting new found family in Wigan hoping to visit soon and research while there can any one please tell me when the history shop is opening again
