Is there anyone who will be shortly visiting West Yorkshire Archives in Wakefield. I require the Police Service Record For William Winter B1851 in Wellington, Somerset. He Lived in Batley in 1891 and was listed as Policeman, in other records he is listed as County Court Bailiff and Policeman again. Im guessing its between 1881 and 1922 probably with Dewsbury or Batley Borough Police.

Ive found some grave numbers i want to search for but haven't got a clue where to start. Has someone got a map of the numbers of Dewsbury Cemetery or knows where i can get one pretty sharpish.

I have a joseph riley who marries Alice young in 1894 in Dewsbury West yorkshire (WR), this is her in the 1901 census, but Joseph is not there although Alice is still as married, where could he be. This is another wall with the rileys i have, his brother james was my grandad and im trying to find him through joseph. Joseph was born in 1871 and james states his age as 30 in 1911 census.

 Lodge Farm Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

I am trying to find info on this farm that has been around since the mid 1600s, the rumour is that the farm is haunted and i would like to try narrow down by whom, It is still lived in at the moment and the people in it say they see an old man in a flat cap and 2 children aged 9 and 7 ish quite often. the man is said to be a mr robinson and he lived in the farm in the 1940s, the children look like they are from a victorian time period, anything would be appreciated
