Hi Phil, Glad you found the post! I have completed a tree for the Velvin family on Ancestry (Elizabeth Candy m John Velvin) Elizabeth died in Orange NSW in 1907 and is buried in Ang. section Orange Gen Cemetery. The family had left Orange by 1911 and various members were living in Mullimbimby/ Batlow/Newcastle and Drummoyne Sydney. John Velvin died 1917, Newcastle at eldest dau home. Most of their surviving children were living in BAtlow/Tumut area by 1930's. There should be some ggrandchildren living in Sydney now but I have run out of leads!

Hello Phil, I'm a new member so bear with me! I have some info for you regarding The eldest Candy child Elizabeth Ann.. She married John Velvin and with 6 children, emigrated to Aust. in 1883.  Is this of interest to you? cheers Jane
