Crikey! Thank goodness my grandparents death announcement are not online as my dad think a local theft would check local newspaper and find the deceased in phone directory online and find address!  I wonder if funeral people would ask you if thats ok to publish funeral details online. I would tell friends by calling or email them instead of online announcements.

Thank you for more explanation

The Common Room / Death records in 2022

Im unsure if anyone did a topic on this , on ancestry i was a bit alarmed that the death records up to 2022,  shows full birth and death dates along with first set of postcode and full names.

I ususally used GOV UK GRO death index , only goes up to 2021, it shows just the year of death and the year of birth and the surname, the first two christian names and third is just first letter of third christian name.

So how does ancestry get full info?  I thought we have 20 years rule?

 :ok

I saw that! I was amazed.  So he kinds of buried them in his workplace. Poor man. The grave is right opposite the lodge.

He have first wife Annie and have two girls Annie and Alice. I see the girls got married and move away.  They had a month old son Edward. He was buried days before his mother Annie. I bet they were in same place as E and M.

After Annie died in 1894 then G m Emily soon after in 1895, then Emily died in 1915, G m Margaret soon after 1916. That tells you something....

Wonder where was George buried? He died in 1937 in Bournemouth age 82. Kinds of a fit guy being caretaker and fresh air.  I see his grant of probate, lived in Southbourne, a little long way from his wives. Must be a curse living at the lodge and need to get away, poor guy.

The broken grave need to be fixed. It’s eyesore.  :-[

Two wives buried together?!  Hm. I don’t have the death certificates. There is no headstones. Just a marble broken frame.

How unusual.  :o

I’ll check out censuses (wonder what I’ve done not finding Emily on 1911)

Thank you for looking

Hello, this is a bit weird....I tried everything - who are they?

Emily Kitcatt died 9 th April 1915 age 56

Margaret Grace Kitcatt died 14 Dec 1924 age 60

I got their GRO death records, died in Poole, Dorset. I saw the grave where they were buried together.

Do your magic!

Wow, it’s muddle search is it?

You are prob right it’s odd from cutter to vicar and you found birthdate for the vicar is not right o my Griffiths. Ok, scratch the find a grave bit.

Sorry, Elizabeth was baptised in April 1881.

So the 1939 you found, shows birthdate was October 1881.

The death you found for Elizabeth in bournemouth.....he, possibly, possibly.

Mystery continues xx

The Common Room / Griffith Barnard Jones

I gave it up searching for Griffith Barnard Jones who married to Elizabeth Jane Gallop in Dorset in 1921. He was born in 1873 in where I don’t know. His father was John.  Elizabeth was born in 1881 in Dorset. Griffith was a widower on the marriage certificate. I saw find a grave website showing his name but no birthdate nor who was his wife! All I need was Elizabeth’s whereabouts or death after 1921. I tried 1939 England Register on ancestry but no luck.

Any magic please?
