:)  Thanks to all for your assistance.
I'll do some more digging at Kiltearn and see what I can find.

Further to my last post. Thomas Dingwall died at Ketwill which was his place of residence at the time but the Death Certificate was done at Evanton. There is no indication of 'place of residence' for Helen on the Death Certificate, just states she died at Asyant.

Helen Dingwall died at Asyant 26 Nov 1861.  The certificate does not show where she is buried.

My G/G/Grandfather Thomas Dingwall, born 18 May 1799 at Keppoch and died 12 Dec 1874 at Evanton.  His wife was Ellen Ross, born 18 Aug 1800 at Beddans, died 26 Nov 1861.  They were married 2 Aug 1823 at Alness.
I have a copy of my G/G/Grandfather Death Certificate but cannot find out where he was buried.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me.
Jack

Good Morning phylina; I'm very interested in what you have.
Here is what I can tell you;
Donald Munro, DOB 6 Apr 1824 at Creich. Parents Hugh Munro and Margaret Fraser married 9 Feb 1821 at Creich.  Ann Dingwall DOB 19 Dec 1828 daughter of Thomas Dingwall and Helen Ross of Kiltearn.
The only information I have on the children of Donald and Ann is as follows; George born 1853, Hugh born 7 Oct 1857 and Ann born 1858.
Donald and Ann were married at Creich 27 Jan 1851. They resided at 2 Clashinglan, Creich, Sutherland.  Donald was a farmer.
Please let me know if there is any other background information that may of interest to you.

Many thanks to IanB and hume24 for their replies to my question.
Ian, I find no connection with your Alexander Dingwall nor with his sister Isabella.
hume24-your information looks like what I've been looking for.  Ann's father was Thomas Dingwall and her mother was Ellen Ross of Kiltearn.  I had information on their children Ann and Hugh but did not have anything on George. :)

???Donald Munro married Ann Dingwall (DOB 19/12/1828) at Creich, Sutherland on 27 Jan 1851.  They had two children that I am aware of, there could be more.  I have not been able find anything about Donald, DOB, DOD, etc.  I would also like to find the DOD for Ann.
If anyone is researching this line would they please contact me.  I have information about the Dingwall line that I'd be pleased to share.

Many thanks for your reply Joe.  Since I originally posted my message I'm coming to the conclusion that John was either Royal Navy or Merchant Marine.  I've recently found one record that appears to match that shows him in China.

:(  John Dingwall, born in Rosskeen on 8 June 1835.  He was the son of Thomas Dingwall and Ellen Ross.  John has been a very difficult one to track down.  If anyone has come across him in their research I'd appreciate hearing from you.
