Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / searching for passenger list

Hi everyone, it has been a while since I used Rootschat and I know I am on the wrong section and was wondering if you have a section to look up passenger lists from UK to Australia in 1957. I have all the relevant information but nothing comes up on Ancestry.

Thanks Japeflakes, it looks a lot better. I thought it may have been early 1900's going by the birth year of the photographer's son

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have posted but like an old penny I keep turning up LOL.
I would love to have this old pic cleaned up and dated. I'm thinking possibly late 1800's maybe  early 1900's. I managed to find a little snippet about the photographer who operated from Thirlmere NSW Aust.
Arthur Richard Cash was born in December 1910. His father John Richard Cash was born in 1876. Both father and son were photographers but I am guessing it was John Cash who took this photo.
Originally I was going to try and zoom on the faces to try and identify them, but I think that would be impossible given that the camera is a fair distance from the subjects.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me
Cheers Kristin

Hi Bitzar, William Tunks (Tonks) was a marine the first fleet flagship Sirius. As far as we know (not 100%sure) he was from Shropshire UK. We have not been able to find anything on him before he came to Australia. The James in the picture is his son.

Well sahnreagh you have thrown the cat among the pidgeons LOL. I know that masonic lodges allegedly don't allow catholics, this is definitely an anglican church they are standing in front of.
What puzzles me is that men women and children are all wearing sashes, and a couple of the children are wearing the sashes in an opposite direction, which maybe just an oversight or there is a reason for them to be different.hmmmmm
Cheers Kristin
