Hello  I am looking for a headstone or lair information regarding and Andrew Leitch. He was born 1868 son of David and Jane (Birrell). Died 1895 in an accident at Shanwell woods, Ferry Port on Tay (Tayport).

These directories were published annually, and lists names and addresses for the 6 towns listed for that year, hope you are lucky.

Re Dundonald Street shop, I was a message boy in early 60's, perhaps using the message bike shown in earlier post.
One of my worst times there was when the Carnival came to he waste ground at the end of Tannadice Street (now occupied by Dundee United training ground) they ordered numerous bags of sugar for the Candy Floss machine, these came in 1cwt bags - not an easy thing to balance on message bike.

Please refer to Red Rows Plean post, This photo is at the bottom of Cadgers Loan, your railway cottages would be at the top of the road in centre. Nowadays the area at the top of the road is occupied by Plean Precast cement company, they are nearby to Plean Country Park. Plean House is in here but is in a pretty dilapidated state.

Nowadays the area at the top of the road is occupied by Plean Precast cement company, they are nearby to Plean Country Park. Plean House is in here but is in a pretty dilapidated state.

Hi, Eric, looks like railway cottages were at the top of Cadgers Loan. see attached National Library of Scotland clip for 1913.
