William Sydney Parrott was a solicitor and in newspaper reports in 1933 he was Clerk to the Council ( Urban District Council of Wolverton)

interesting, so he sold the house for the council

Newspaper reports in Buckinghamshire papers have references to Althorpe Crescent from 1933 and go on through the 1940's.

This is very interesting as i have heard rumours of this strett relating to Princess Diana.

Yes I do think that no 20 is older than your house.  As mentioned earlier your deeds should give some indication as to when it was built.  If your house was built by prisoners of War (WW2) then it would not appear on the register in 1939.  There were no electoral registers during the war years.
Hi Rosie99
My deeds say 1935 i think.  What do you see?

The house types seem to change after no 20 on the even side of the road,  they certainly don't look as old as no 20

Do you think the house up to 20 are older? if so, why cant i find my house on this street?

I have googled my house but found nothing unfortunately and my neighbours have said the houses were built in the 1930s. early 1930's or late i dont know but nether less i have been informed POW built them so possibly 1939? I dont have any evidence to prove any of this though.

Have you access to the deeds of your house - that would show when it was built.

Is it on the 1939 register?  Or is that the one that only goes up to number 20.

I do have the deeds but its written really oddly, i dont understand a majority of it.  I will go through them again and see what i can find.  I found the 20 houses on Find My past.  My house is 30 Althorpe Crescent in Milton keynes but i searched under the district of Wolverton or stantonbury.  I believe years ago the estate was Bradwell but was changed to Bradville (Bradwell is still around, its not an estate near mine)

Hi Guy

I think it was an Electoral role or something similar, or maybe the census.  all of the places that you have written are not the one that i used to use.  I cannot think what it was called.  any idea where i can find some history on my house. i know it was built in the 1930's bnut when checking census i see only houses 1 - 20. (im number 30)
