just had a look in the book, yep they were living at 35 springwood street killed 9/10/1917, battle of passchendaele ridge he was never identified,, this is also my partners great uncle, another brother was also lost, james t nuttal, he died from shrapnel  wounds, then there was a sister mary this is roys great grandmother,

hi,, not 100% but we have thomas and herbert in our tree, both st josephs ramsbottom, herbert was lost in WW1 and there is a book with info on him, called lost lads of st josephs, get in touch if you think this could be what your looking for x

hi this is my partners family mary is also his gg grandmother herbert and james thomas both died in WW1 they indeed lived in stubbins and you can see the house on google street view 35 stubbins street, stubbins its a small cottage with a white door and little side gate on the side my partner still lives close by and if you wanr any info just ask

hi horncliffe is a huge old mansion,  it became a home for the elderly, then it was a venue for weddings, the new owner hopes to turn it back into a normal house for his family, it is a lovely building
