Thank you so much

Quote
"You haven't posted link to marriage certificate, mentioned Matthew's occupation, etc. The groom's name is SIM not Simm (Simm doesn't bring up the marriage on Irish Genealogy site)-
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1865/11559/8251953.pdf "

I have the certificate so I would have no idea how to scan,(lookdown and no grandchildren to help) but what a fabulous site the irishgenealogy is.

I also have Janes Simm birth certificate but she was not named on it and they had a daughter Margaret born April 1867 under Simms.

I have followed Andrews family and spellings can be Sim Sims Simm Simms Sym Symm Symms Simn and now Sum.

So thank you again.....onwards

Hugh and Annie Twigg their daughter Joanna married Peter de Haro and died in England at a young age her sister married his brother.
Their son John died at a great age unmarried.

ASHBASH if you have the detail to Joanna Twiggs parents that would be lovely....I am descended from Annie Twigg ....my great grande mother was her sister. Also where are your Todds buried.

No to both Gilby .

Thought with a Sherriff in both sides might be a link ....

Ann is still a mystery.

There is an earlier Sherriff /Peden marriage in Carncastle not sure if the same family but the bible may hold the key.

Interestingly a bible is mentioned in a early will, so following who is left what,it could still be in Ireland in 1900's or should be.

so onwards

[Think I am an old thread some days  ;D ]

I can find no evidence that Daniel Peden's family in Carncastle are from the same branch that went to America, or related to Rev Alexander.

Unless this bible could shed some light.

The Stevenson link is still ongoing, Han's mother was a Sherriff but one of Dan's daughters married a Sherriff.

I can find no link to Pedens in any other areas BUT......Templepatrick family might be linked to them.

So onwards
