Hi Jordan,

Hope you are good and thanks for messaging.

Tucker was my grandfathers brother! That's great to hear there is still some family in Kinning Park. I thought Tuckers family had all gone to Jersey or so i was told.

I am also in Glasgow.

If you can send me a PM i can share all of the information i've gathered over the years and hopefully find out more from you

Cheers

Paul

Would it be classed as New Kilpatrick though, within Dumbartonshire?

Many thanks

Hi Rootschatters

I was hopeful that one of you experts out there can advise me on which area Drumchapel would have came under during the latter part of 1800s and early 1900s?

Many thanks in advance

Hi All

Thanks for the information...

I will have a look into the Anticosti information as this ties in with the dates I have from a poor law record for Edwards wife...

Hi Everyone

Thanks a million for all of this..

Yes, that is my Archibald Kerr..

I assumed he deserted as the Victoria Newspaper listed him under "deserters from H.M service"

Really appreciate all this information... What a find!

Paul
