Merionethshire Militia info here but I doubt that a private would be mentioned by name
https://sites.rootsweb.com/~wlsmer2/Militia/index.html

There is another David Evans from the Merionethshire Militia who married in Madron in 1801 to Anne Harvey.

I don't think Ann & George are her siblings. Their surname on the census is Bunce
Possible baptisms St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey
28 Dec 1817 Ann (born 9 Nov 1816) daughter of Benjamin & Ann Bunce, Long Walk. Benjamin noted as tanner.
26 Dec 1824 George (born 19 Feb 1824) son of Benjamin & Ann Bunce, Grange Road.
26 Dec 1824 Mary (born 3 April 1821) daughter of Benjamin & Ann Bunce, Grange Road.

he is noted on Maria Elizabeth's marriage certificate as wine merchant. However, on the census entries where he will have given the information, he is a wine cellarman.

that article is a good find, explains why Rees doesn't show up in records and mentions all 3 sons.
