Just sticking with that 1911 passenger list for a moment: per the UK manifest for the Geelong, Harry Haddon was described as a farmhand.

Harry Hadden was discharged from the army on 27 June 1911 and the Geelong sailed on 27 July. The chronology fits.

He was married to Ada Rose Bartlett in London on 11 February 1912. She is on the London electoral rolls (Ada Rose Hadden) through the 1920's and 1930's but Harry doesn't seem to be with her.

On the burial record at Ford cemetery the address given is 107 Rice Lane, which was the union workhouse.  ( I was hoping to find something more helpful)

Looks like her birth was registered as Beatrice Mary Benney q/e Sep 1882 1C 423. Ties in with death of Beatrice Mary Denny in 1976 (born 13 July 1882).

It's another mystery - if she is Harry's sister why is the birth registered in his mother's former name, 2 years after his parents married?

where did you get Beatrice from?

Next of kin named on the RFA file (1908-1911), presumably information given in 1908.

Mother Mary Ann 4 Whewell Road, Cornwallis Rd, Holloway
Brother Joseph 27 Lyndhurst Road, Thornton heath
Sister Beatrice (with mother)

In the 1891 census (21 Marcellus Road) there is a girl with a name that looks like Benjamin, born Islington circa 1882. I wonder if that is her - from a previous marriage?

FindMyPast has TA papers for a Harry Hadden of the Royal Engineers. Was living in Fraserburgh in 1915. Born 1895. Where and when was your Harry Hadden born?
