Yeah, I know the feeling. I always knew that my g.granddad killed himself by coal gas poisoning, but my gran didn't think to tell me that it was because he had an "Exaggerated attachment to his daughter" - my grans elder sister! I only found out when I ordered a copy of the article in a 1936 paper. I wonder if that's the reason she was so concerned when I began my family history. I'll never know as she died in 1995 :(
