Hi Arranroots, just had a message fom indi, she found him in 1861  in Birmingham with his wife Emily, he was a gun implement maker. She can.t find him in 1871. Emily may have died in 1862. they had a son Daniel Skidmore Hanson born Birmingham 1861. He married Lavinia Skidmore in 1875 in Birmingham, There's no trace of them in 1881. In 1891 they are in Portsea having three children Emily 13, Luther 11 and Annie 9 all born yorkshire doesn't say where. They had a further seven children born in Portsmouth. I don't know when he was in the army. Is this enough information? Carol

Looks as though Indi had a pretty thorough look for them & I can't improve on that.

Sorry!  ;)
