The second picture looks like "Sd" , perhaps short for "Said" ?

Hi Josephine, Clincher and Glenys.

Thank you all for your ideas and help.
I have to agree with it being Sd meaning "said" and not "I".

The reason is yet another Will that shows as 2 seperate charactors. In case others come across this again I have included that and also an example of the same handwritting showing the I of Isabella.

It may be 'signed as or at' the First letter is an s, but the little squiggle next to it may be an amprasand?
