Shropshire Place names ??

I am not familiar with Shropshire but I would like to locate the following places that do not seem to appear in my map book.

Allston or Alberton I have in both the 1881 and the 1871 census. Is this a miss spelling perhaps

there is an Alderton east of Myddle and a Halston 1m east of Whittington.

do you know what area of Shropshire?

I have no idea what part of Shropshire  big county..!

The family were living in Birmingham on later Census returns but John Groom born 1850-ish says that he is born in those places in the later census returns

John Groom married Hannah Yapp in Wellington so maybe it is near Wellington ?

Arleston  was a small hamlet 1.5 miles SE of Wellington but it has long been absorbed by housing.
