Barrs of Antrim and Mossley and Whiteabbey
« on: Sunday 15 January 06 14:35 GMT (UK) »
Looking for information on the Barr family in Antrim who were cycle merchants and ran a garage.

Their family have graves in Randalstown RC and also in Aldergrove graveyard.  They include an Anne Reid and John Barr who were born early 1800s and their children including possibly a Bernard, Daniel, Mary and Charles and Daniel Barr and their Grandchildren.  Some of this family moved to Belfast in 1900s.

Also interested in a John Barr from Mossley [probable brother and sister living in Mossley near the railway station in 1901 called Annie and Daniel born around 1870] who married a Margaret Butler around 1896 and had a Henry Barr in Whiteabbey Whitehouse RC 1897.  Mulhollands were witnesses.

Interested in links to McGarry family.
